On the busy corner of Loucks and Main in the Historic Downtown of Sheridan, Wyoming, you'll find the PO News & Flagstaff Cafe. With nearly a hundred years of tobacco retail history, the PO News will bring you back in time with origional hand made cabinets, marble humidor cases and tin-stamped ceilings. The Flagstaff Cafe was developed by owner Chad Franklin in 2007, expanding business from what was know as the Downtown Diner in earlier years. Now, patrons sit among friends and enjoy homemade pies, cobblers and desserts after a meal of fresh made cafe delights or breakfast served all day. "It's a greasy spoon cafe without the grease." says the owner. "I eliminated the fryer right form the start so the business professional of downtown can enjoy a lunch-hour meal without returning to work smelling like a restaurant. No one seems to miss the fried foods."

 

Our warm and charming atmosphere will instantly relax you while our attentive staff makes you feel right at home. Weekly "early bird" specials offer unique flavors and pairings. "Chad, you have single handedly bumped the lunch hour up to 11:30, just so we can make it in time for the special." one customer reported.

 

PO News & Flagstaff Cafe is the perfect destination for your next night out, with Thursday and Friday's "King's Hours" (4-8 pm) offering Liquor, Beer and Wine specials and a ramped-up appitizer menu. Pair it up with a cigar selection or sample a Hookah and soak up the tobacco parlor's atmosphere. Make no mistake though, this is no smoky bar scene and cigeretts are not allowed. It is more of a social club for great conversation.
